THE CONSEQUENCES OF LOSING THE MIDTERMS.
(A special mention to the Patriot Warriors family ART TEAM)
Since World War II, the presidentโs party has almost always lost House seats in midterm elections. Gains have occurred in only two cases: 1998 under Bill Clinton (+4 or +5 House seats, Senate unchanged) and 2002 under George W. Bush (+8 House, +2 Senate).
These are the only postwar instances commonly described as a president โwinningโ the midterms. Clintonโs modest House gains came after Republicans had already taken Congress in 1994; the GOP retained both chambers, so his final two years (1999โ2001) featured divided government and the impeachment battle. Bushโs 2002 results were more consequential: Republicans gained seats in both chambers and secured Senate control, producing unified Republican government for 2003โ2005โthe last two years of his first term.
No other postwar president saw their party pick up House seats at the midterms that preceded their final two years in office. Later midterms (2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022) all produced net House losses for the incumbent party and, in most cases, divided government. Thus only one presidentโGeorge W. Bushโobtained a relatively interference-free final two years of a term specifically by gaining seats and unified control. Clinton โwonโ on paper but still faced an opposition Congress. The historical pattern remains one of midterm losses and increased legislative friction in a presidentโs closing years.

National Wildlife Day! ๐ฆฌ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Thereโs no better place to see wildlife than Yellowstone National Park. So I decided to take a little walk with some of my favorite animals!
From the wildlife roaming our world today to the history buried beneath our feet, there are plenty of ways to get creative with this one. ๐ฅ

Itโs time for the daily Cyber House Crew Drop! Happy National Wildlife Day!
Today I am going to feature the American Bison, which in the late 1800s was driven to the brink of extinction. Once numbering an estimated 30 to 60 million across North America, by 1890 they were reduced to a mere 541 animals. This near extinction was caused by hunting for food as Americans moved into the West, destruction of habitat, and government policy to wipe the Bison out because Native Americans relied on it as a primary food source. Today, there are approximately 500,000 American Bison, with about 30,000 being on public, tribal, and protected lands. A full story on the American Bison will release on my page in the next month or two!

Absolutely justified! ๐บ๐ธ๐ช๐ผ๐บ๐ธ
A Georgia man is walking free after defending his family and property at 4 a.m. when three masked thugs rolled up to rob people in his front yard.
The suspects โ 16-year-old Isaiah Reid,
15-year-old Jaime Hernandez, and
16-year-old Brandon Gresham,
all from Conyers โ
were masked and armed. One teen opened fire first.
The homeowner returned fire, dropping all three. Would-be victims unharmed. Deputies recovered two guns at the scene. Rockdale County Sheriff Eric Levett called it a clear โstand your groundโ case.
No charges against the homeowner.
Is this justified?
