241 Israeli babies, children, men & women are being held captive by #Hamas in #Gaza. This is their 3rd Shabbat spent in captivity, under unknown conditions & far from safety, security & their loved ones. The below Shabbat table is set in #Montreal with 241 empty places, representing the 241 Israeli hostages. We pray for their safe & immediate return. #ShabbatShalom

Replying to @JustinTrudeau
@JustinTrudeau will you make a statement about a swastika at Parliament or will you continue to ignore the antisemitism in Canada?
Very disturbing to see a swastika on Parliament Hill today.

Swastika seen on Parliament Hill today. We expect all to speak up & condemn this overt symbol of antisemitic hatred immediately. #cdnpoli #Antisemitism 📸 @HowardFremeth

It’s all over Canada- we are passing our tipping points- what don’t they understand ?
The air over the province is thick with smoke from the wildfires burning in Ontario and across Canada. This is what climate change looks like in Ontario. The Ford government isn't listening to the alarm bells as they continue to invest in fossil fuel energy. #onpoli

A heart-breaking moment saved in an SS picture of deportations of Hungarian Jews at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It was taken 79 years ago, most likely in late May 1944. A little child found a dandelion in the grass and is handing it or showing it to an older boy. All the people in this picture were waiting to be killed in gas chamber. They were murdered some time later. Please RT this unique document.

Have struggled with term #empowerment. #CriticalAllyship is not about empowerment of others with less power & privilege but rather dismantling the oppressive structures I/we have a role in upholding. Because what we permit, we promote. #ICRE2022 – at Montréal, Québec

I was just asked to be on The National to discuss Roe and abortion...and then I found out it would be a panel with a "pro-life/anti-abortion" voice. I am livid and sent this reply. I couldn't care less if this means I will not be asked back to the CBC. It needed to be said.

I agree wholeheartedly. The word #performing needs to disappear from our vocabulary in #MedEd. Performances are done by actors, pretending to be someone they are not. This can only lead to #imposter phenomenon. Authenticity is needed, now more than ever. – at Edmonton, Alberta
Remember #MedEd trainees: "You are rehearsing how to do #medicine, you're not performing." As such, you don't need to be perfect! If we can re-frame training in this way, can we help to shift the culture?
