🚨𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓: France Football wanted to give a Ballon d'Or to Messi for his performance in the 2026 World Cup. But Lionel Messi lost all the individual awards and the World Cup Final 2026.
So Messi's PR launched a media campaign to get his fans to vote for Messi as the greatest Ballon d'Or winner of all time.
France Football made an award named "BOAT" - Best Ballon d'Or Of All Time. Messi won 8 Ballon d'Ors, and they wanted to give him another one to make it 9, and then the Super Ballon d'Or to make it 10. 10 for LM10. ✅
They made it a ONE EURO fee for the voting system so that no one could vote for free and kids couldn't give votes. The people should be 18+ to vote because there are a lot of Ronaldo fans among young children. They get inspired by Ronaldo. They love Ronaldo.
But even after this criteria, Ronaldo's 2008 got 62% of the votes in just one day. They understood that Ronaldo might win. And they can't give another Ballon d'Or to Ronaldo. So they changed their award and statement overnight, saying that there is no physical trophy for "BOAT" and that it's just a fan poll.
What was equal to the Ballon d'Or became an online poll. And they knew that even if Ronaldo wins the BOAT, he will not go to take that. That would be an insult to France Football.
The story isn't even finished yet. Even after that, Ronaldo got 72% and then 75% of the votes for his 2008 Ballon d'Or, while Messi's 2012 is only the highest vote with 9%.
Then they stopped the voting for Ronaldo's 2008. You can't vote for that, but you can vote for Ronaldo 2017. But still, Cristiano Ronaldo won the BOAT, Best Ballon d'Or of All Time. 🐐🏆
Ronaldo won the BOAT while only having 5 Ballon d'Ors, while Messi lost having 8. ❌
Ronaldo is the only player in the history of football who won the Ballon d'Or 5 times and then exposed the Ballon d'Or publicly. 😳
The people voted for the right person, and Ronaldo stopped another Ballon d'Or robbery.

On the contrary, it makes me boil. It’s just plain hypocrisy. Did they not spend the whole season watering down his efforts and saying that Gabriel and Saliba were the ones covering his ass? David Raya was pulling saves after saves to keep Arsenal in games and eventually win his golden glove and we had people debate the prerequisite of the golden glare award just because an Arsenal GK won it. Threw themselves a party all season and now act surprised.
Wrong. There are only 4 who have won 5+ trophies in the first 7+ years of their managerial career: Bob Paisley, Jose Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, and Mikel Arteta.
I could further argue for Jose and Arteta, especially since these two didn't inherit an already elite team.
The same trophy Mourinho won back-to-back within his first 5 years as a professional coach and in his first experience managing in premier league?
There are plenty of mangers who have won major trophies before reaching 7 years as a professional coach
That's why it's always wise to reserve harsh words whenever you disagree with someone's opinion

BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism.
Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity.
For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives.
The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence.
This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice.
