So you see, we built this button, a magic button, and when you click it, it gets you a job interview.
It gets you a bunch of job interviews.
All you have to do is click the button.
Good riddance
The coding interview is dead, at least for my team at Anthropic. I've seen enough to know that it no longer provides signal. I removed it from loops this month.
I have a spicy, optimistic take - I think there's an opportunity for junior engineers: felixrieseberg.com/hunger-be…
Pretty late to the game but I've been having a lot of fun playing around with AI video generation last few days. At the same time it fills me with a sense of dread. It's already so good and so easy to take an idea in your head and render it in HD. The amount of time we will spend living in these fantasy worlds we create can only go up from here. And what happens when we can generate video in real time? In 3D? The fantasy worlds will become more compelling than the real world, for many. Is this somehow worse or different then a very good book or video game?

This is what my canvas in Dreamina looks like. I use Eleven labs to create the voice-overs and Suno to make background music. The professor character is named Dr Felix Orion and I developed him by chatting with ChatGPT. I also used ChatGPT to help me mood board and write the scripts. Then I have it steer Dreamina for me and write the prompt. My role is creative-director/producer/and final edit. I use CapCut to clean up quirks and combine clips together since Dreamina often has little glitches that are too expensive to regenerate to fix, so I'll just cut them out directly.
Cowboy Space Corp has 69 job openings on outer space jobs dot com. Nice.
Looks like that employer summary's a bit out of date. Updated. outerspacejobs.com/employers…
This is how the fifth dimensional aliens in Slaughterhouse V see humans btw
Despite the doom and gloom around the field of software engineering, over 25% of open jobs pay over $250,000
neat
Everyone's using Claude Opus 5.5 to build entire worlds in #threejs.
I spent 7 days on a single human eye.
No textures. No 3D models. No photos. Just math, light and ~400 parameters.

Here's what my canvas looked like for the Nathan Fielder dancing video. The masking was done in CapCut using keyframes. It was kind of janky to control the mask animation & it was my first time using that tool

We sure do love being mapped. Interesting to see that I'm still firmly center-Indie hackers despite mostly hanging out with TPOT lately. I take this as good evidence that my tweets would do much better if I tweeted more like an indie hacker again.
Is it just me or does Nathan Fielder have the dance moves scientifically proven to be most attractive to women?
Scientists have identified the specific male dance movements that women find most attractive.
I've built the largest space jobs board in the galaxy. Over 16,000 open jobs at 262 employers, updated multiple times per day.
