My 1st year dropshipping I was down over $10,000 and still didn’t have a winning product to show for it
Then 2 weeks before graduating the firefighting academy, everything clicked and I made $89K in 14 days
Here’s the story 🧵
Ultimate NPC low iq behavior is listening to music in the shower
Like bro just get clean
It’s not that crazy
Your product doesn’t fix X_Problem
It HELPS fix X_problem
Absolutes are the difference between compliance or not
Don’t offer 100% outcomes but explain how u can HELP achieve the outcome 🔑
these organic dropshippers are about to get sued into oblivion
they're making fake ai videos that don't even show the real product
customers order one thing and get something totally different
they're basically begging for chargebacks
and speedrunning a permanent ban from shopify payments
the ecom meta is shifting
last year everyone just reposted tiktok shop videos
now you can clone any ad from any niche and swap in your own product with one prompt
most stores are still running the same reposted videos everyone else has (that's the gap)

Live in the end.
Assume the journey is already complete.

saw this game show ad from @thedennis and loved the concept
one prompt later i had my own version for a completely different product
same format, same energy, new niche
xitter.cf/thedennis/status/21103…
This Koriderm ad opens with a $1,000 age-guessing game.
The cream doesn’t appear until around 1:49.
What connects the two? A chain of questions.
How old is she?
Why do they look so different?
How do they know each other?
What’s her secret?
Here’s the breakdown:
1. Get the viewer to play along.
A host, contestants and a prize make the opening feel like a game-show segment. You have something to guess before you have something to buy.
2. Put the guesses on screen.
The contestants write 38 and 39. Those answers establish an expectation the next scene can overturn.
3. Deliver the first reveal.
Grace says she is 60. The ad cuts to the host and audience reacting, giving the reveal room to land.
4. Turn surprise into comparison.
Another contestant says she is 60 too. The story moves from “How old is she?” to “Why do they look different?”
5. Add a second twist.
Their university backstory leads to recognition and a reunion. The comparison now has a personal history behind it.
6. Keep the product question open.
“What’s your secret?” gets “I’ll tell you after the show.” The answer is delayed one more time.
7. Reveal the product as the answer.
Koriderm Time Reverse Cream finally appears. The pack shot resolves the question the dialogue has been building toward.
8. Switch to a clear offer.
The ad closes with buy one, get one free, two tubes for $79, and a 90-day money-back guarantee.
The structure worth studying: answer one question, then give the viewer a reason to ask the next.
This is an analysis of the ad’s game-show framing, not verification of a real broadcast, the characters’ ages or the skincare claims.
What question could your next ad make people want answered?
