I wonder why theories are often better explained by someone else, and not by the author. My fave is when @Snowded explains #Cynefin talking about kids party, but this explanation by @jgberger is just crystal clear: pavilion.dinfos.edu/Article/…

The Cynefin Framework: Sense-Making in Complexity

Watch as Jennifer Garvey Berger from Cultivating Leadership teaches how the Cynefin framework helps identify problems and find solutions.

Insightful article on leveraging #Cynefin and cultivating a deeper understanding of the language that we use to frame and discuss outcomes.👇 bit.ly/nationwide-cynefin Thanks to Nick Brown and Eleanor Taylor at Nationwide Building Society. #TheCynefinCo #MakingSenseOfComplexity

There’s no such thing as a committed outcome

A shared perspective on the topic of outcomes from myself and Ellie Taylor, a fellow Enablement Specialist here at Nationwide.

Still in catch up mode on the Christmas Blogs, still building to mapping, and managing ritual, symbols and habits to enable abduction. This is number 6 with a bit of nostalgia for rote learning thecynefin.co/twelevetide-21… – at Lockeridge, England

The Cynefin Community at @AnthroComplex that @snowded got off the ground is another example. They're another community that's developed rigorous methods for making sense of human problems and solutions Many of their participants would have similar interest in the #MapsMap prize

YES! @michaelthaber is a doodling legend. Fascinating call with him where he asked me who SHOULDN'T use Pivot Triggers (A: lots of people.) We talked about where they might help on a #WardleyMap and where they might help in #Cynefin Minutes later, he had doodled it all out:

I use the term because of what I learned from Cynefin. Predictable stuff is made of the sum of its parts; you can take a bicycle apart and put it back together again. Complex stuff though is dominated by relationships…

This arrived yesterday & I just finished reading it. Added to my ‘read again & take notes’. Seems to indicate a willingness of the community that grew up around Stacy for wider engagement, something that would fill in the gaps. Liked the take on Appreciate Inquiry & holocracy :-)
