⚠️ It's great and fine to focus on historical significance. And this is that.
However, if you can't govern BETTER than the clowns that got voted out then it's all for nothing.
A Black face in a high place is NOT a flex.
Black excellence IS.
You have an OPPORTUNITY. We'll see.

If you get a massive surprise medical bill from a US hospital:
ABSOLUTELY AVOID THESE
- Paying it immediately out of panic.
- Setting up a payment plan (this legally admits you owe the full amount).
- Calling the billing department to argue on the phone.
- Believing "insurance denied it" means you have to pay.
IF YOU WANT TO SLASH THAT BILL FROM NOW ON ↓

⚠️ Mississippi hasn't had a Black senator since 1881.
It's now on the verge of doing that.
NO ONE really believed it would happen or COULD happen.
The culture of resistance never dies.
No matter how long it takes.

✨ Sir Patrick Stewart has died.
He stood up during the George Floyd uprisings on the side of justice. He should be remembered for doing the right thing when doing the right thing wasn't the easy thing.
Make it so.

One of the reasons so many average people stay poor is because they believe they are special. They believe their life is going to magically change because they're going to get a letter in the mail from magic school inviting them on an adventure.
The reality is, we get those letters every single day. They just look like risk and a shitload of work, with no guarantee of a payoff.

Stop frying your brain with endless short form content. Read long, complicated, books. Especially novels. Cultivate the ability to think deeply. To focus for long periods. Stare into space and enjoy boredom. Do tasks without any media playing in the background. Resist the urge to reach for your phone every time you feel uncomfortable. Get used to being with uncomfortable emotions instead. Wonder and think about the questions you have instead of asking AI. Become deeply present with everyone around you. Your ability to focus, pay attention, to think deeply, is one of your most valuable assets. Reclaim the immense beauty of experiencing your life directly instead of living it through a screen.
