The fields are black dark as black as a nightmare I couldn't my hands in front of my face Beauty drained into eerie Sound tiptoes the noir My fingertips grazed the melancholy as I stared blankly into somber void. #FromOneLine #WritingCommnunity #writing

This is so very sad
The Orange Mussolini has now cut down the historic Willow Trees at the Kennedy Center, our nation's living memorial to President Kennedy. He just cut them down. How much of our history are we willing to watch disappear? It's disgusting and heartbreaking and God, I despise him.

250,000 Americans marched on Washington 63 years ago today. They marched for jobs and for freedom. They marched because they were tired of being told to wait for equality. The March on Washington was a call to action for our nation. Today, we must answer the call once again. The right to vote is yet again under attack. Despite attempts to take away our power, we know that the real power is still with the people. And this November, we will use our power.
