𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 I think people might be looking at The Furnace @Thefurnacexyz from the wrong angle. At first glance, it sounds like another NFT project where you mint a piece, keep it in your wallet and hope the value goes up. But the NFT itself isn't really the interesting part here. What happens after you activate it is where things start getting different. Once you mint your Furnace and activate The Forge, the NFT gets its own ERC-6551 wallet. In simple terms, your Furnace can now have a wallet of its own, meaning assets can be held directly by the NFT rather than simply sitting in your personal wallet. And this is where I think the interesting alpha is. The Furnace has a royalty pool connected to the collection. As NFTs are traded, fees generated from those trades flow into the pool, and those funds can be used to melt stocks into the wallets attached to individual Furnaces. So over time, a Furnace isn't necessarily just an NFT with an image attached to it. It can actually have assets sitting inside it. Now imagine you own a Furnace and its attached wallet contains $500 worth of stocks. If someone comes along and buys your Furnace, they aren't simply buying the artwork. They're acquiring the Furnace together with whatever assets are attached to its wallet. That changes the way you should think about the floor price. A Furnace sitting at the same floor price as another Furnace doesn't necessarily mean they have the same underlying value. You'd also want to know what is actually sitting inside each one. And there's an interesting trade-off if you want those assets for yourself. You can withdraw the stocks from your Furnace, but doing so burns the Furnace. In other words, you can't simply take the assets out and keep the NFT alive. You either keep the Furnace with its attached assets or exchange the Furnace for what's inside it. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. The NFT isn't merely representing an asset. The NFT can actually become the container that owns the asset. So when you're looking at The Furnace, don't only ask, “What's the floor?” Ask yourself: “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗲?” Because if this mechanism works as designed and assets continue accumulating inside these wallets, the NFT's value could become about more than the picture attached to it. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗜'𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. 👀
