ALT "Superintelligent Zombies' by Justin Tiehen and Ariela Tubert", published in the Journal of Consciousness Studies, Volume 33, issue 7-8.

ALT It is hard to say with any certainty what the exact relationship is between intelligence and consciousness, and so hard to say whether systems that achieve artificial superintelligence (ASI) would be conscious. We are attracted to the view that they probably won’t be: they will be superintelligent zombies. This is because we find it plausible that there is a kind of negative correlation between intelligence and consciousness such that across all physically possible systems, those that are capable of at least human-level intelligence will tend not to be conscious, and furthermore, the very most intelligent of such systems are the least likely to be conscious.

ALT Write a song about ducks in the style of the Bible Verse 1: In the beginning God created the ducks, He gave them wings so they could fly, Filling the skies with their quacking call, Their beauty is a wonder to behold. Chorus: Oh, the ducks of the Lord, They fly on high, Splashing in the water, As they pass us by. Verse 2: God gave them webbed feet to swim in the lake, A feathered coat to keep them warm, Their wings are strong and carry them far, From the water's edge to the stars. Chorus: Oh, the ducks of the Lord, They fly on high, Splashing in the water, As they pass us by. Verse 3: The Lord watches over His feathered flock, Providing food and shelter for them, He calls them to Him when He needs them, And gives them a home in the heavens. Chorus: Oh, the ducks of the Lord, They fly on high, Splashing in the water, As they pass us by.

NEVER FOLLOW ADVICE FROM A LANGUAGE MODEL WITHOUT VERIFICATION. Language Models are Frequency-Biased. Galactica is good for generating content about well-cited concepts, but does less well for less-cited concepts and ideas, where hallucination is more likely. Language Models are often Confident But Wrong. Some of Galactica's generated text may appear very authentic and highly-confident, but might be subtly wrong in important ways. This is particularly the case for highly technical content."
