This year, naging overwhelming (both in a good and bad way) yung iba't ibang aspects ng life so I became more intentional in seeking performing opportunities like open mic events. Thankfully, I got some invites and paid gigs too. Di pa rin talaga mawawala yung passion in performing kahit ang daming ganap sa buhay cos it's an outlet for me. Honestly, I still look forward to the day that this and making music na talaga yung bread and butter ko. Like what I used to say, this is what my heart beats for. ❤️🩹

Always a fan of how Justin seamlessly shifts from one vocal register to another like here sa pre-chorus ng Lawless, minsan with so much dancing pa tulad sa pre-chorus ng WYAT when they perform it live.
Pansin ko in my voice classes, isa yun sa mga hindi talaga laging madaling idevelop or maging consistent with. Ilang sessions din inaabot ng ibang students ko to master that, pero once ma-"unlock" mo yun in learning how to sing, ang enjoyable lalo kumanta. 😄

Their anniversary events always have this special air in it compared to their usual concerts.
I think it's that same air we find when we wake up in the morning of our own birthdays. We feel that the day is extra special even if practically it's just another day. Moreso if our loved ones take the effort to be present, to celebrate it, to celebrate us.
And year after year, A'TIN does.
I think that's what makes #SB19's anniversary events so different. Because it's their most special celebration of the year. It celebrates not new releases but their sheer existence—what was, what is, and what will be.
Certainly, never to miss.
They were extra fun yesterday.
You know that they must have been exhausted from Saturday's 6-hour show but they showed up with much excitement to perform for their fans, with such genuine joy to interact with us on this special day.
I notice #SB19 is always like this on their anniversaries. It's always just extra fun, extra everything.

not enough people talk about the burnout that comes from constantly dealing with unhealed adults. always being the bigger person. always managing their triggers while suppressing your own. always explaining basic respect and accountability to people stuck in survival mode. that kind of exhaustion is soul tiring. protect your peace before you lose yourself carrying what other people refuse to heal within themselves.
