Waymo nearly doubles Orlando, about 66 to 118 sq mi, vs Tesla Robotaxi's 26 sq mi there.
Its new map shades the MCO terminal area, but no airport pickups are announced. Rental counter's safe for now.
Does Orlando get the Houston treatment next, and should MCO be in it? I think Tesla will explode and overtake before Waymo realizes.
Cybercab now outnumbers Model Y on Tesla's Texas Robotaxi roster, per DMV counts: 544 to 507.
Austin riders: getting a Cybercab more often than a Model Y yet?
This is crazy cheap overall! I pay that going 1/3 of the distance. Bring on more robotaxis!
An Austin Late Night Cybercab Ride might’ve shown the best cost per mile yet:
🚕 Cybercab - $37.16 - 24.3 mi - 53 min ⏱️
🟢 $1.53 per mile. Cheapest I've logged across 466 fare checks in 4 cities
🟢 20+ mile rides in my log average $53.20. This one came in at $37.16
🟢 Next cheapest per mile is Uber's Wait & Save at $1.64, then UberX at $1.78. Every other Robotaxi long run I have is $2.15 or higher
🧐 Most of this is the base fare spreading across more miles. The longer the ride, the lower the per mile cost
Length is doing a lot of the work here, but $1.53 is the lowest price per mile I've seen. Tesla’s efficiencies must be gradually coming into play 🚕 ✍️
For my fellow $tsla bulls how you feeling?
I think it’s nice to see some steady green for a change.
NHTSA's proposed lighting update for driverless cars with no steering wheel is in the Federal Register today, with comments open to Nov 25.
One idea: optional cyan "self-driving" lamps, 4 to 8 per car.
Would they make you more comfortable sharing the road with one?
Walla Walla, wine wine, woman woman... IYKYK. Good to have another one on that side of the state

Not to be confused with Dr. Doom's Latveria, Tesla Europe says FSD (Supervised) is now approved in Latvia, with rollout starting soon. That's reportedly the 10th European country.
Baltic owners: first test a border-crossing road trip, or wait to see how it does in winter?
My niece just bought a new car. Not a Tesla. I guess no matter how hard you try to teach some people they just don't get it. Now she'll have to deal with the maintenance of an ICE vehicle. ☹️
Even these smaller supercharger locations are welcome. The more options the better. Keep em coming Tesla Charging!

Verizon's CEO said Starlink would need 4–6 years and $300–500B to compete with carriers in cities and suburbs. Elon replied, "Will take 2 or 3 years"
As a former employee of T-Mobile. I think the big 3 carriers are not prepared for the wave that will hit them.
Tesla made Houston's Robotaxi zone 10x bigger: about 25 to 254 sq mi, nearly matching Austin's 272, all unsupervised.
The new zone runs through Downtown and Bellaire, but IAH is still outside the line (and yes, the map is shaped like a Starship).
Houston riders: does this replace Uber for in-town trips?
Tesla can build Cybercabs faster than it can deploy them, says Lars Moravy: the line is "outpacing our robotaxi deployments."
Texas DMV listed about 465 Cybercabs Saturday, but trackers count only about 208 live.
Real bottleneck: validation, geofence size, or rider demand?
Turo will start flagging Teslas with verified FSD (Supervised) on Oct 28, checked directly through Tesla's API.
Would you pay more for a Turo Tesla with verified FSD?
I've seen this before and Iike it. Let's hope it continues to rise to where it belongs. Let's go Tesla bulls!
He didn't want to be here after last season and looks like he wanted to get out here quick again. #GoHawks
Tesla says Megapacks are almost sold out for 2027, and it's still October 2026.
Energy watchers: where does margin land in Q4 without those?
Tesla's plan to train Optimus isn't a fleet of cars. It's an "Optimus Academy" of 10,000 to 20,000 bots practicing on their own.
First task you'd want it to learn?
