I have always checked every 1961 Proof Franklin Half Dollar I have seen and have never found one. Unfortunately. 😢

That old penny with wood grain on it isn't toning. Collectors call it a woodie: the copper, tin and zinc weren't fully mixed before the metal was rolled out, so it came out streaky. The tell is bands that run through the metal, on both sides. Toning sits on the surface in random spots.

Jesus called John the Baptist the greatest man ever born. And yet in that dungeon, facing death, John had doubts. He needed to ask one more time: "Are you the one?" For me, that's incredibly reassuring. The little moments like this - the human, vulnerable ones - those are what I never heard growing up. But they're the ones that matter most. Faith isn't about having no doubts. It's about moving forward with them.

How is there zero attention on what’s happening daily in Nigeria?

He endured the scourging, the crown of thorns, and the agony of the Cross out of love for us. His suffering became the path to our salvation. ✝️💔
Do you believe in Jesus Christ? YES or NO? 🙏❤️

Please say a prayer today for my friends at Dover Baptist Church in Shelby NC
Their church caught fire and was badly burned, the cause of the fire is unknown.
I just got word that although much of the building was burned to the ground, they found the cross still standing!!!
