Sir Patrick Stewart was best known for playing heroes on screen, but one of his bravest acts was telling the truth about his own childhood and speaking up for human rights.
For many years, he stood with Amnesty and spoke openly about the violence his mother suffered at home to support our campaign to stop violence against women. His honesty gave courage to survivors around the world.
Our thoughts are with his wife, family and friends. The best way to honour him is to carry on the fight he believed in. It should appal us all that the scourge of violence against women and girls continues, and Governments must do far more to end it.

Cure for Pain - Mark Sandman Story
youtu.be/g3rBiW3cl6E

Marx Brothers

Deception
The deception feared in love is already present before it actually occurs. There is no one else in sight—neither he nor she has another partner—yet the "other" exists between them: it is their very being.
Such is the necessary duality of love, which introduces a third element to secure that "other" which love itself requires. In this sense, the only deception is that each of the two is the other.
