FLOOD OUTLOOK: Warm temps & rain will increase flows in area watercourses & may cause local ice jams. Stay away (esp. kids & pets) from all area water bodies as unstable ice, slippery banks & fast flowing water will result in dangerous conditions. ow.ly/Gxpj30o2bss

Localized flooding is worsening in several areas across Simcoe County this afternoon. Please stay off the ice on waterbodies as it is increasingly unstable & stay away from river & stream banks. Falling into water at these frigid water temperatures is life-threatening.
