- Restaurants have no moat. - Anyone can vibecook their own meal. - You can build your own burger at home at a fraction of the cost it takes you to get it from a restaurant. - If a restaurant builds a really good recipe, copycats will instantly reverse taste it and steal it. Restaurants are dead.

You don't use Cloudflare to host your app. Why?

So lange braucht ihr für den GTA VI Download 🤯 10 Mbps -> 47 Stunden 7 Minuten 25 Mbps -> 18 Stunden 51 Minuten 50 Mbps -> 9 Stunden 25 Minuten 100 Mbps -> 4 Stunden 43 Minuten 500 Mbps -> 56 Minuten 32 Sekunden 1000 Mbps -> 28 Minuten 16 Sekunden Wie lange braucht ihr? 🧐

so sad to see people being ok with ai slop code just bc it uses "less ram" or whatever,,,, ALL of us would prefer carefully hand crafted, elegant electron apps over this vibe coded rustslop :/

When I have +3 notifications in Slack I get crazy
My teammates always tell me my notifications stress them out. This isn't that bad though right?

whenever developers complained about software using electron they didn't understand the alternative isn't something better, it's that the software just wouldn't exist same with AI. our automated system did 110 fixes in the past week for hex. majority of these were annoying cross platform compatibility issues there's no world where any of us would have taken this on manually. hex just wouldn't exist

Costumer had a bug in the middle of the hike so had to pull out the starlink
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This photo is from @pabsclimbs' Oct 2025 post about a Yosemite vibecoding session promoting Dome (modified Starlink Mini), not a recent customer incident. x.com/pabsclimbs/sta…

some things I often say to claude when doing perf optimization work: > how do we rewrite this to better leverage data-oriented design principles > can you replace those hash tables with a flat array? can we make the pointers an index into the array? can we pack the most commonly used data into upper bits of the index? > caching is cope for a slow design. do not add caches and delete all existing caches. instead, redesign it to be faster > should this be a structure of arrays instead of an array of structures?

no matter what agent you're using, your voice is the best way to talk to them and hex is the best way to use your voice: - fast - runs locally - works on mac, windows, linux stable release now available: anoma.ly/hex

Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family. It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.
