Pumpkin Fun in Ms. Kirkland’s Class!🎃                     •   •   •   •   • This week, Ms. Kirkland’s class dove into the fascinating life cycle of a pumpkin! Our Cheetahs explored the different parts of a pumpkin-including the stem, seeds, strands, skin, & pulp through hands-on sensory exploration. They wrapped up their week with lots of fall fun by painting pumpkins & carving a pumpkin together as a class! We love learning through hands-on experiences, making memories, and getting into the fall spirit! 🍁@BeltonISD

3rd Grade Field Trip🚌       •   •   •   •   • Our 3rd Cheetahs got to visit Temple College for their FutureU Early College Elementary Day! During their visit, students got to explore interactive rotations ranging from learning how to perform CPR to how to be an engineer. They had an absolute blast exploring different careers in such a hands-on way!🛠️ @BeltonISD

CLOCKING IN with 1st Grade⏰               •   •   •   •   • As a part of their learning of community helpers, our 1st grade Cheetahs have been exploring different careers. After researching & reading about various careers, students got to help create a life-size version of a neighborhood worker as a class. They also wrote about their class’s career to share with the other classes in their pod. To wrap up their unit, our explorers were invited to dress up as the career they want to be when they grow up! Each class did a gallery walk to see all the class projects & share their writing across the grade level. Thanks for reminding how bright the future is for our young Cheetahs🌟 @BeltonISD

Kinder’s Pumpkin Museum🎃            •   •   •   •   • Our kindergarten Cheetahs have been learning what makes a place special in their latest reading unit. Most recently, they have been exploring and learning about history & art museums. To bring the idea of museums to life, they decided to make their own! Students were invited to create & paint their own pumpkins by using their favorite book character & display them in our READS Lab. They also got the opportunity to disguise a pumpkin in art class to add to their “exhibits”. Students & staff have had a blast admiring our very own, fall-themed museum without even having to hop on a bus!📖 @BeltonISD
