We were honoured to join the @TransformTrust2 Children's Parliament meeting at @AshbrookJunior today, where we explored how diversity, equity and inclusion all work together to create a sense of #belonging. Watching these young people engage with big ideas was really inspiring!
Our Sports Leaders are going to access Mini Leaders training through the Erewash Education Sports Partnership- can't wait to see leadership in action!
Looking forward to our Holocaust workshops today as part of our half term enquiry: How can we show tolerance of diversity rather than prejudice?

Had a fabulous National Poetry Day at @AshbrookJunior. Enthusiastic, polite, imaginative children and lots of poetry fans! I rather enjoyed being called "The Famous Poet" as I made my way round school 😉😁 Thank you so much for having me - enjoy #CornflakesAndGravy!

We had a great time for our Pride and Diversity Day: dressing in rainbow colours, celebrating what makes us different, learning about inspiring people and creating blackout poetry to understand the power of words. Well done to our Rainbow Raffle prize winners too! @TransformTrust
