You know it's winter when .... Your dinky little ZWO is at -25c and only 58% cooler power 馃槏
OMG what is this .... c ... c ...clo .... cloud! stuff. It's been a long time.
It's nice having a solid internet connection that lets you use live video streams remote. Focusing, planetary and lunar imaging aren't a problem. #remoteastronomy #astrophotography
It was all hapenning in one corner of the observatory last night - flat frames, polar alignment, reconfiguration! Great night, great skies. #Astrophotography

Beautiful twilight with Venus, on-site for a new client install.
My customers and I declared last night an absolute cracker of a night. Will tonight stack up? It would be hard but that sunset looks great!
The June southern #milkyway onsite #astrophotography

Beautiful post-lunar eclipse sunrise with moon setting this morning from onsite at AOWA. I was busy live streaming for TimeAndDate.com last night from Perth Observatory

MMMmmm a brand new QHY268c (thanks BinoCentral for the prompt service!) installed on the 11" RASA. Looking forward to seeing how that performs.
A nice sunset on-site recently while doing some site maintenance. #remoteastronomy

More progress on the RASA 11" to be available fore hire. Building up in my backyard observatory at this point before moving to site, the OTA and mount are now up. #remoteastronomy
What a stunner of a night! #remoteastronomy

Work starts on building up a new RASA 11" setup which will be made available for hire. First step - new holes in a disused but very solid pier. #remoteastronomy
A stunning dead calm evening on-site tonight. #astrophotography #remoteastronomy

Any artificial light that is not needed is a pollutant that has serious and harmful consequences. Effective outdoor lighting reduces light pollution, leading to a better quality of life for all.

AOWA has gone solar! PVC system installed to cover the site's daytime power usage plus some. Looks awesome under the stars too :) #remoteastronomy #astrophotography #centralwheatbelt
