Your sportsbook never sends you a bill. It just shaves the odds.
Say a match is Team A 40%, Draw 30%, Team B 30%. Fair odds would be 2.50, 3.33 and 3.33. A regular book might show 2.35, 3.10 and 3.10.
The difference is the bookmaker's margin, and it's already inside the price, so you never see it as a cost.
@bet25com 's Zero Margin Sportsbook takes that margin out. On eligible markets you see odds much closer to the real probability, which often means bigger numbers than you're used to.
Instead of hiding the cut in the odds, they charge a flat 5% service fee.
Whether that works out better for you depends on the market and the bet.

when a platform sets its odds, the price can include a built in margin. think of it as the bookmaker's cut, already factored into the numbers you see.
@bet25com describes its Zero Margin model differently on eligible markets. instead of building the traditional margin into the odds, it says it charges a separate 5% fee on the stake.
here's why the details matter.
in one example using the same four picks, the displayed figures were around $1,920 in potential payout on one platform and $2,515.52 on the other, based on a $100 stake.
that's a difference of roughly $596 on paper. but the figures need to be checked carefully: the selections and markets must match, and the fee structure needs to be included in the comparison.
zero margin doesn't mean zero cost. the 5% fee still matters, and displayed payouts alone don't establish which option offers better value.
the key is understanding how each platform calculates its odds, fees and potential returns before drawing conclusions ....

Anyway, something interesting about sports odds is how different platforms can show different prices for the same market.
For the same Total Over 3.5 goals market, one screenshot shows odds of 1.90 while Bet25 shows 2.02.
That difference comes down to how the odds are priced..
Traditional sportsbooks generally build a margin into their odds. @bet25com says its Zero Margin model removes that built in margin on eligible markets and charges a separate 5% fee on the stake.
But higher displayed odds alone don't tell the whole story. You still have to account for fees and check that you're comparing the exact same market.
It's a good example of why the numbers behind the odds matter, not just the match itself..
