La tregua humanitaria más cínica de la historia reciente
Mientras el mundo miraba para otro lado creyendo en "ayuda humanitaria" era todo lo que sucedía en Osleshky, Sky News acaba de confirmar el peor escenario: Rusia pactó un alto el fuego temporal supuestamente para evacuar civiles y bajo la protección de la primera dama de EEUU reforzó su presencia militar en la ciudad.
Sabían que los drones de ataque ucranianos tenían la orden estricta de quedarse en tierra para no romper el acuerdo.
Con el cielo limpio, las tropas rusas metieron blindados pesados, municiones y refuerzos las 24 horas del día. Algo que antes de la tregua era un suicidio por el fuego ucraniano.
Básicamente, usaron a los civiles de escudo y la paz como pantalla para blindar sus posiciones militares de manera impune.
Las imágenes de los drones de reconocimiento de largo alcance no mienten y el video ya es viral.

At least 24 people were killed and five more were injured in a horrific Russian attack on Komyshuvakha in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian forces repeatedly struck a school where local residents regularly received humanitarian aid. Following the initial attack, Russia dropped nine more aerial bombs on the shelter where people had taken cover.
Rescue teams are still searching for people at the site.
Russia knew that civilians had gathered there to receive humanitarian aid. Yet it attacked both the building and the shelter where people had sought safety.
These killings demonstrate Russia’s disregard for civilian lives. The international response must include stronger pressure on Russia and continued support for Ukraine.

Tres refinerías en tres días.
El ejército ucraniano 🇺🇦 ha logrado atacar el ~10% de la refinación de petróleo de Rusia 🇷🇺 en sólo 72 horas.
Ucrania 🇺🇦 hizo concesiones y se abstuvo de atacar refinerías rusas durante dos semanas a petición de la administración Trump 🇷🇺, pero parece que los ataques ucranianos 🇺🇦 contra el sector petrolero ruso 🇷🇺 se han reactivado.
La capacidad anual total de las tres refinerías rusas 🇷🇺 atacadas en las últimas horas—Kstovsky, Novokuybyshevsk y Bashneft-Novoil— es de unos 33 millones de toneladas de petróleo al año, o el 10% de toda la capacidad de refinación de petróleo en Rusia 🇷🇺.

👼🏻23 days old. They didn’t even have time to register her. A Russian shell killed her together with her parents and brother.
Sofia Konyshcheva was 23 days old.
She was born on July 22, 2023, in the village of Shyroka Balka in the Kherson region. Her parents didn’t even have time to officially register her.
On August 13, the Russians opened fire. The family ran to a neighbor’s basement — they didn’t make it. The shell exploded right in the yard.
Sofia, her mother Olesya, her father Dmytro, and her 11-year-old brother Artem were killed. The boy kept calling for his mother for several more hours.
Eternal memory.

"Newsmax crew is in Oleshky to be independent observers. But we have to make no mistake to give context to the situation.
Russia is using this humanitarian operation as a propaganda opportunity. Moscow wants to portray itself as the rescuer of civilians in a city that it occupies. One it has destroyed and plunged into this humanitarian crisis. And we need to be clear: Russia controls what we are going to be allowed to see.
Moscow appears to have brought in numerous Russian media compared to just the one American news outlet. Because of that, our team is not is not going to have an unrestricted picture of life under Russian occupation. The people that we could speak to very well could be under duress, and Russian authorities are showing us what they want the world to see. That is essential when we're going to be evaluating the first images and reports that are coming out of Oleshky.
But nonetheless, the fact that civilians are being evacuated and offer this humanitarian aid this is historic. This has been brokered by the White House, and this is a significant point in the war. We're seeing a localized ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine continue to hold to enable this operation to take place. We are again tracking the developments coming out of Oleshky today. All eyes are on this ceasefire, and we will certainly keep you posted."
