How many times have I posted a grading picture like this? I’m a creature of habit for sure… sticker charts for personal motivation, leaving excessive feedback (not shown), and tracking skills for small groups.

English teachers should have an additional prep period for reading and providing feedback on student writing. It takes over 8 hours for a writing teacher with 100 students to read and respond to a typical set of essays - and that's assuming only 5 minutes per essay. #bfc530
