One of the things that is infuriating about the government's attitude to artists and muscians is that, even leaving aside the arguements over what the arts do for quailty of life/mental health/soft power, we're still exactly the kind of people the govt should be supporting 1/3

Suede is technically a small business, set up and run without govt help, that makes millions overseas and brings that money back to be spent in the UK. We employ a ton of people, pay our tax, support local businesses 2/3

Suede's self-titled debut album was released 26 years ago today, which includes the singles 'Animal Nitrate', 'Metal Mickey', 'So Young' and 'The Drowners'. The album was recorded at Master Rock Studios, produced by Ed Buller and released on Nude Records.
