Yesterday, my decision to dismiss misdemeanor marijuana possession cases was reported on. I believe it is time for prosecutors to purposely decarcerate & to use our prosecutorial discretion to provide restorative justice to our communities. I will remain a fighter for reform.

There is no need to ever question where I stand. A firm, intelligent and competent leader who has dedicated her life to public service is what we have in Vice President Harris. I was with our VP during HER first Presidental run and I am with her now. It's time to get to work. 💪🏾 – at Portsmouth, VA

🚨So called reporter gone wild🚨 I signed up for many things when I took on this job, but DISRESPECT was absolutely not one of them. I simply won't have it. It's time to air it out, the ENTIRE full 25 minute sit down. Lock in, full interview coming. 🫡
If it's about the community, I'm pulling up. Today was a celebration of the right to court appointed counsel at the Public Defender's Office and I was proud to be there in support. Justice isn't possible without strong advocates on both sides working to seek the truth.
