The (poor neglected) website’s been down for a while due to life being busy, but I’m still knocking around and at some point I’ll get it back up from some backups
17/ On Your Own (Blur) - Could have easily given it to Paranoid Android, but I listened to Blur's self titled album a lot that year, and this was probably my favorite song from it, though I liked a lot of the darker stuff on side 2 of the cassette (yeah I was still buying tapes)
18/ Hear My Train A Comin’ (Electric) by Jimi Hendrix. Mind blowing performance that I listened to over and over and tried very much in vain to learn how to play. Of all the cassettes I ever owned, this probably came closest to being worn out

Using delays in sync with the song (8th notes, quarter notes etc), offset them a few milliseconds to create a rushing or dragging feel for a section.

It's a fun synthesizer using blockchain data for bitcoin transactions to generate audio by @jacobajit. A good example of #sonification of data
Reading up on blockchain tech and wondering how it could apply to audio. Plenty of opportunity for decentralized music-marketplace or content protection type applications, but that's business stuff. More interested in generating audio like this site! :)

16/ The Day we Caught The Train - I was a guitarist by now and Britpop was in full swing. This song was the summer of 96 soundtrack
15/ Whatever - In the great war of Oasis vs Blur in the 90's I chose Oasis. Would have chosen differently today, but this was my 'last day of school' soundtrack song #AutobiographicalSongs
Interesting ML approach to sound classification mentioned in this video - treating it as an image classification problem by using spectrograms #ml #audioClassification #machinelearning
