One of the fundamental aspects of policing that most officers seem to misunderstand is that you have to investigate FIRST and detain SECOND.
Establishing reasonable suspicion is PRELIMINARY to a detention. Officers must gather an objective and articulable set of facts that would justify a detention BEFORE they can effectuate a detention.

This is what federal enforcement looks like under Trump. He has given them as much leeway to commit misconduct as any president possibly could. If you support @realDonaldTrump you are supporting authoritarian policing.
New video: point of view of the Key West resident locked up by @CBP agent he was filming. 8 hours later, the resident was released without being charged.

What the fuck do you need beyond a clear admission to a crime in order to arrest someone for a crime? You would think it wouldn’t take much convincing to get the cops to arrest child predators.
Sheriff Waters is blatantly trying to blame McNeil for not filing a complaint while simultaneously saying that the department had already cleared the footage as a lawful use of force. Shouldn’t @JSOPIO have launched an investigation when they saw the bodycam? Why are you blaming him when your leadership rubber stamped the use of force in the first place? Are you saying your department isn’t competent enough to conduct internal investigations without a complaint from the public?
This is not a reasonable use of force. Yes, you do have to get out of the car when lawfully ordered to do so, but refusing to obey a lawful order is not a license for the cops to beat the shit out of you. The force must be proportional to the suspected crime. Fire these assholes.

The goal - of this whole thing⬇️
Is less violence between police & citizens.
•That’s it. That’s the driving force.
1. Don’t resist arrest or fight with police.
2. Police must act within the necessary bounds of the Constitution.
*It’s. Both. Things.
Former Alabama officer Mac Marquette fired 18 shots in 2 seconds, killing Steve Perkins during a vehicle repossession. Now, he's invoking 'Stand Your Ground' in his defense. When laws meant for self-defense are twisted to justify excessive force, justice takes a backseat. apnews.com/article/alabama-m…
I'm happy to publicly announce that YouTube reversed its decision to remove the videos I received a privacy complaint about. I just found out about this because no one from YouTube notified me about it, but I want to make sure everyone knows that YouTube did the right thing. Thanks to whoever made that decision within the company!
There’s something ironic about a human asking a machine to define the fabric of reality. This is like a puppet insisting that hands don’t exist.
The thing about saying stuff like this is that is can be verified or proven untrue. Regulus won't rise in the gaze of the Sphinx on Easter in 2026. The last time it did that was Dec 8, 2023 and the next time it will do that is Oct 7, 2026. It's not some once in a lifetime event and it's not going to happen on Easter. I smell some grifting.
Federal judges don’t have unlimited power. They can only issue a temporary injunction if they find an order to be unconstitutional. There’s also the appeals process which is available to anyone. Let’s not slip into a tyranny of any branch of government. Including the executive. Elon is paving a slippery slope.
YouTube is allowing law enforcement officers to weaponize privacy complaints to remove public accountability footage. I have explicit permission from the private citizens involved, yet my videos were removed, and now my entire channel is under attack. @TeamYouTube, how do you justify this?
