Today I issued an Executive Order designating “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson as the official anthem of Florida.
I have also directed the @FLSecofState to erect historic markers in the City of Apopka depicting John Anderson’s contribution to Florida’s heritage.
In addition, I have tasked @FLDEPNews to work with the @SJRWMD to designate wildlife drive and trail system within Lake Apopka North Shore as the John Anderson Wildlife Drive and Trail System.
For an Iranian to boost this tells me there’s some serious social engineering going on, on a massive scale.
BREAKING: Japan to urge all citizens to stockpile at least 3 days of food and water in preparation for major disasters and events, with an official emergency request set for November 2.
"At least three days, and I'd like to say a week if possible… please prepare food, toilets, and water properly at home even without public assistance," Japan's Disaster Management says.
It comes just 2 days after the Pentagon started to prepare every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war.
The UK launched the "Be Ready" program 5 days ago, also advising all citizens to keep 3 days of key supplies, including bottled water, non-perishable food, and a battery or wind-up FM radio.

Japan's call for citizens to stockpile at least 3 days of supplies is longstanding official advice for natural disasters like earthquakes and is tied to the scheduled November 2 launch of its new National Disaster Management Agency.

A black man, the director of the soccer league, called the cops on this kid’s mom for harassing him. His parents then turned around and exploited their child to push a victimhood narrative. Ridiculous.
Racists don't know what they've done to this little boy

Bodycam footage shows the Black league official called police after the parents became disruptive when their talented son was benched for pushing other players. The boy's mother said he was removed for being too good. Police called it a civil matter with no arrests. cbsnews.com/news/youth-soc… orlandosentinel.com/2026/10/26/vir… nypost.com/2026/10/26/spo…

I suspect that many people who are still obese and resisting GLP1s have this fear because “it can’t be that easy” how can something that costs less than $50-100 a month change your life. It’s hard to believe in miracles when you have struggled with your own body for so long.

You know what wrecked me when I was newly Christian?
Genesis 22. For years as a Muslim, I was told the story was about Ishmael.
Then I actually read it. I think the bigger topic isn't Isaac or Ishmael.
It's this: Why would God ask Abraham to sacrifice his son in the first place? What kind of God does that?
The answer hit me like a freight train, because it shattered my Muslim worldview. God wasn't being cruel, He was painting a picture.
Abraham never goes through with sacrificaing Isaac. God stops him, then God provides a ram in his place. That action is not just a test or an isolated story: That's prophetic. It's a blueprint.
The blueprint goes: A father. A son. A sacrifice. A substitute.
You see where I am going with this.
Genesis 22 is actually the heartbeat of the Gospel. God was foreshadowing the day when He Himself would provide the sacrifice. Not for one man. Not only for one family.
But for the whole world. Of course, salvation wasn't earned by Abraham's performance. It came through God's provision.
You can recieve this substitute and gift. Here's what made me stop and think: The Quran retells the story of Genesis 22, but removes the name of the son. Why?
Because once you start following the thread through Genesis, the prophets, and the covenant promises, you eventually have to wrestle with the Lamb that comes later.
You have to wrestle with Jesus. The perfect sacrifice that every previous sacrifice pointed toward.
And that's when I realized: The story was never ultimately about Abraham. It was always about what God was going to do for us.
And there's nothing we can do to earn His approval! We can only receive the sacrifice He already provided.

You mean, they should have scored and give the packers the ball back with 1 minute left? When they could just sit down there and burn up the rest of the clock to make sure Jordan love never got his hands on the ball again?
Wow. People are so dumb.
Really? The transatlantic slave trade is the absolute worst crime in all of human history?
What about the Arab slave trade that lasted 4 times longer, had a 20-50% death rate, and forcefully castrated all males? Where the female:male ratio was 3:1 since it was almost exclusively females being forced into sex slavery?
Did they consider Mao Zedong's forced famines that killed 30 million people? What about the mongol conquests that killed 40 million people, or the holocaust that killed 3x more people than the transatlantic slave trade ever did?
The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Wednesday declaring the transatlantic slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity.

Reading Dracula has solidified the conviction that my children will never see Twilight while I can help it. It’s not the idea of vampires themselves that is so morally abhorrent, it’s their being portrayed as good. Vampire stories should stir hatred for beings that so sacrilegiously abuse the life blood, not humanize them.

I do sincerely believe that too.
I believe the US, with all its faults, is the glue that's kinda keeping the civilization together. Without it, you have intense factional warfare and constant global upheaval. No checks or balances. No accountability, even if selective.
Even in a jungle it's important to have a king.
Notice how the current upheaval in the MidEast coincides with the reduction in U.S. influence in the region. When U.S. influence recedes, that's what usually follows. I suspect we will find the same case in Europe.

Hey @BWWings, I had a friend join us for the 1pm games. She had just finished working out and brought in a water bottle to hydrate. She was berated and scolded for no reason and told to take her water bottle back to her car. She does that no problem and move on. We come to this BDubs every Sunday to watch games and enjoy our time. I understand your rules of no outside drinks, but is your staff eating @McDonalds in the bar area also allowed? Asking for a friend…
As a side bar, we were in Fishers, Indiana and our waitress has been nothing but good to us every week we’ve been there. This woman and the dude with her taking a lunch break though, not so much.

Pet peeve of mine is adults that make a very big deal about their birthdays & expect that their friends are obligated to participate
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

My mother just called me to ask if I think that she needs to dial back her GLP1. She “feels” like she is hardly eating. She 77 and is down 90lbs to 188 at 5’2” tall.
I asked her how much weight she’s losing about 3-4lbs. I told her the scale is more accurate than feelings. If you’re only losing that much a month, then you are eating.
I suspect that people who struggle with obesity have a skewed sense of what is normal for food portions. Which is why they are often unsuccessful on regular diets.
I just told her to watch the scale. If it moves too fast dial back. If it goes up dial up. Vibe dose.
Bottom line is she is so much healthier. RSD completely resolved. Joints feel better. And 10x more active.
