"But he's a good Christian man."
So are thousands of others who have been detained by ICE. Many were here with legal paperwork.
We've been screaming about the cruelty of ICE and y'all said we had toxic empathy. Now it's happened to someone you like and you ask for grace.

Can’t punt 15-18 outs from your Game 5 starter for three outs in Game 4. Jacob Misiorowski was never coming into that game last night.
TB had to with Nick Martinez because it’s an elimination game. When you’re up 3-0, you don’t have to be desperate.
Was the decision to save The Miz for Game 5 the right one?
@Russ_Dorsey1 told @jasonfitz and @carolinefenton1 that keeping Jacob Misiorowski for his start in Game 5 was more valuable than burning him in the 12th inning of Game 4.

I hope I’m done seeing any Joe Davis slander.
The dude paid homage to Ueck on what was nearly the organization’s most important HR ever, then SHORTLY AFTER predicted TB having a chance against Drohan. Only to cap it off with a late night hat tip to Jack/Joe Buck.
Sale was pitching in a Game 5 with an off day the next day. MadBum, Randy, and last year's World Series MVP who this guy mysteriously forgot to include for some reason were in Game 7. This takes like three seconds to figure out.
Two of the game's best pitchers go head-head tonight.
Jacob Misiorowski vs. Drew Rasmussen. Both have elite home run rates. It's hard to hit one out against them.
Unless, of course, you're Wade Meckler.
He has 3 career homers, and took both deep this season.

Caring for immigrants is a good thing— a Christian thing even.
Let’s always remember that immigrants are made in the image of God, even the ones we don’t know, and we can speak of them as those worthy of dignity and respect.

I'll take Pat McAfee that a University of Utah student calling him 'corny' made him honestly feel uncomfortable.
I would politely ask him to consider how Mississippi student Mary Kate Cornett felt when he used his show to amplify a false rumor about an 18-year-old's sex life.

This has been a very "are we the baddies?" week for Twitter Christian Nationalists.
It's not too late. Leave the group chat. Close the account. Reconnect with your church. Put Jesus above your online frens.

Lmao. @JerryBrewer’s column, written more than a week ago, was about how the show has changed because it’s now about McAfee and his persona.

I haven't agreed with everything Jerry has written, but he approaches each subject with depth and nuance. Especially the McAfee/GameDay thing, which if McAfee had bothered to actually read it is about what GameDay is as a whole now, with him as a symptom, not a cause
When you start every episode of GameDay with Pat cutting a promo, even a good one, you change the show's center of gravity.
That's exactly the point @JerryBrewer was making: nytimes.com/athletic/7691367…

For a year, @SandoNFL and I dove into what actually goes on in an NFL headset, and the vast networks that make every play possible - hidden in plain sight.
Then, the best visuals team in the world made it tangible.

Hello 911? I'd like to report a murder
.@JoeyVotto and @MadDogUnleashed don't agree about Junior Caminero's home run trot last night 😂

I don’t have a dog in this hunt, as I left @CTMagazine with different (directional) concerns several years ago, but I will say that we need Christianity Today to be thriving, evangelical, and journalistic. I’m praying that it will be.
Christianity Today has seen about half its staff quit or laid off in the last 14 mos. Former employees told me that new business leaders have intervened in editorial decisions & are effectively abandoning the outlet's commitment to independent journalism. nytimes.com/2026/10/21/us/ch…
This is the type of story you read, read again, and then send to all your friends. Proud to call @SandoNFL and @JourdanRodrigue coworkers!
The story I’ve always wanted to do—taking you on a wild ride inside #NFL headsets on game day. Buckle up!

I’ve always believed the whole Christian Nationalism thing was a fraud. But I never expected to see its hypocrisy so spectacularly exposed as it was this week. Wow.

This is not healthy, nor should it be considered a badge of honor. Colorado State has given up 222 points over its last 4 games. Perhaps taking a step back every so often would be more helpful than this strategy.
