Passkeys are the right move. @AuthLN, we build on FIDO2 ourselves, so no argument there.
The gap they don't close is cost.
An attacker can still work enrollment, recovery, and proxies at $0 per attempt. Passkeys raised the bar for the user again and left the attacker's bill at zero.
That's the next problem.
