NYC fired at least 10k teachers for refusing the COVID shot newly revealed documents show.

At Least 10,000 NYC Teachers Fired or Left Jobs Over Covid Shot Mandate, New FOIL Data Reveals
Shocking new data shows that 5,399 teachers were fired in 2022 for refusing the Covid shot, and 112 were fired the following year in 2023. In addition, over 16,718 teachers resigned in 2022 which “includes vaccine related terminations,” according to documents obtained by Jimmy Wagner from the NYC Board of Education. Wagner shared those documents with me this morning, and you can find them at the below link.
Based on my very quick read of these documents, this means NYC lost at least 10,000 teachers due to the Covid shot mandate. This number includes all professional pedagogues (teachers, principals, psychologists, social workers, counselors, etc…) but does not include paraprofessionals, nurses, therapists, secretaries or supports staff within the education system.
10,000 is likely a huge under estimate!

What else happened 2020-24? Cuomo became the COVID dictator, Hochul kept the repression going. The UFT and Eric Adams shut down the schools. I can't keep track of the young families who left not just NYC but the whole state for Florida, SC, TX, TN, anywhere but here.
10 months in and he finally signs his first bill. No surprise. He was one of the least productive members of the Assembly. During the five years he was in the Assembly only 3 of the 4500+ bills passed were Mamdani bills own bills. He only introduced 21 bills, half of the 42 average of the rest of his class of '20 legislators. The dude does not like to work at governing at all. He is all about posturing and preening.

So Bob Duff, the Democratic Senate Majority Leader of the Connecticut Senate is unaware that the COVID shot does not prevent either infection or transmission.
He also appear not to know that less than 10% of American adults are still falling for this reacket.
And he makes public health decisions for an entire state.
@MaryBowdenMD, here we are two weeks before a crucial election, we have about 500,000 elected officials in the US, including 19,000 state legislators and 537 members of Congress, and you are encouraging your many followers to vote only for the 169 elected officials you have persuaded to sign your pledge. If everybody follows your advice how do you think that is going to work out for us? Here in NY there are few elected officials who were more authoritarian than our Gov. Kathy Hochul, she is opposed by Bruce Blakeman who as a County Executive refused to enforce any of Hochul's masking, social distancing or mandatory shot dictates, but he has not signed your pledge. So we should not vote for Blakeman?

New York gubernatorial candidate @NassauExec Bruce Blakeman backed reinstatement of New Yorkers who worked through the height of COVID and were later fired under New York City's 2021 workplace vaccine mandates at a press conference in the Bronx today, calling their firings "fundamentally wrong."
Blakeman was endorsed earlier in the day by the organization Teachers for Choice @teacher_choice, which has advocated for workers who are still seeking reinstatement.
Chevalier's comrades made wearing a mask mandatory at their 2026 convention this summer. They wear masks all the time that's how that recognize each other on the street. The DSA has fifteen candidates in NY, four are parents.
