🚀 We’ll be there tomorrow. My 1st BBC Report for BBC Radio 5 was flying to New York in Concorde COCKPIT 35 years ago 5th July 1991.I’ll have my Concorde tickets & A4 Concorde folder with menu,entertainment brochure etc & Concorde pen set.Can’t wait to meet the Concorde crews.

🚨 An iPad Caused an Emergency Landing on a Transavia Flight in Porto It has emerged that a seemingly harmless Apple iPad caused an emergency landing on board Transavia flight #TO7646 on April 10, en route from Paris Orly to Lisbon. The flight, operated by Boeing 737-800 (reg. F-HTVP), departed Paris at 15:44 local time, but was forced to divert to Porto (OPO) after the electronic device reportedly overheated and began emitting smoke, triggering concerns of an onboard fire. 🛬 The aircraft landed safely in Porto, where emergency services met the plane on the tarmac. It’s time for airports to stop calling it “special assistance.” What’s “special” about being disabled? What’s “special” about a visually impaired person? Someone with a hidden disability, hearing loss, or any other disability? We are human beings—no different, no less. So why label us as “special,” as though we’re set apart from everyone else? The term “special assistance” is degrading and outdated. It brackets people with disabilities, making them feel othered, when in reality, we’re just passengers like everyone else. Airports should adopt Passenger Assistance instead. This term is inclusive, welcoming, and reflects the truth: at the end of the day, we are all passengers, deserving of equal dignity and respect. Let’s move forward and create an aviation experience where everyone feels seen and valued.
