It has to be lineal if you want it to be like James Bond. But it could be made semi-open world if you make it like 24. Or it can be fully Open World if you make it like The Americans. Just you would be the one chasing for sleepers. This only tells Dan Houser wanted it like Bond.
Rockstar tried making an open-world spy game called Agent, but the project never came together. Dan Houser says Rockstar had “two or three different teams” working on it, but they couldn’t figure out how to make the concept work. “We tried with two or three different teams to make an open-world spy game and could not get it right, so it never came out.” The biggest problem was the genre itself. Spy stories are built around urgency and constantly moving between distant locations, while open-world games encourage players to slow down and explore. “The momentum of a spy story pushes you forward in time, whereas you want games to be a bit more spread-out.” After trying several approaches, Rockstar eventually decided it was a game they weren’t going to figure out. “Other people can try, but I personally think it’s hard.”

To be specific. Not impossible to make a Bond style game open world & multi path. Would just be stupidly expensive and highly unlikely to make a profit. Take latest bond game, give it as many locations as the latest hitman trilogy, but have each location be 10x bigger & complex.

Good Ad, but why would I return to Firefox given how censorious and biased it is? Brave would not exist if that was not true. Only thing it has that Brave doesn't have is extensions on mobile. That is it. And @brave said to me that is coming soon.
How is the internet less private than in 2006, when the whole family shared one computer? Back then, the internet was weird, personal, and all of ours. So, we got your favorite meme legends back together to say it louder: What happened to the internet? 1/3

Quantum Break (2016) Finally played it and 100% it. Really good in the context of the year it came out. Quite daring with the bundling of a show within game and having it be a two paths story. Skeleton of the first Control game can be felt here. An 8 for me. Is just too limited

Given I 100% it both in game and achievements, this means I fully played it and watched the show within twice. And you can see how limited in Budget Quantum Break is out of need to focus the story in a way that allow the bundled show to be a worthwhile addition to it.

When it comes to games with branched narratives and a lot of fully acted cutscenes done seamlessly. Quantum Break feels like a game that sits well between David Cage's Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human while still being a Remedy game. Without it, there is no Control.

Quiver Launcher 3.5.1 + Quiverlauncher.com QL is the way to keep up & manage Recomps,Decomps + some ports in Windows, Linux and Android. With v3.5.1 is now good and anyone can also provide feedback to it with the official site for it. This week Android got to 100 titles.

Previously I thought Windows would get to 1000 ported titles by year end in general. Now it might get there just on Quiver Launcher out of 1500+ titles that will be floating around. Android should get to 175 on QL out of 350+ titles floating around. And that is just from 2026.

In 2027, I previously thought about 3000-5000 titles for Windows being available. Now I think 5000, with 10,000 not being impossible. For Android, I thought maybe 1000. I now think that is the minimum and 3000 would not be impossible to happen. That is how crazy porting has got.

Netflix offer was crazy low for a deal that would basically lock Xbox to Netflix for close to a decade. Netflix spends 1 billion a year on just making actual filler programming no one watches. Xbox counter offer was also low. $1B was better. 700M would have been just OK.
Netflix offered Xbox $500 million for the exclusive rights to adapt its IP into movies and TV shows, Puck News reports Xbox countered with $800 million, which Netflix rejected

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners S2 Great & different from S1. Truly a deep cut on the deliberate choices and nods made by Bartosz Sztybor. C'mon, naming the Neo-Gonzo Tween Short Maker Roman Carax? And having the anime open with The Cure's 10:15 Saturday Night? Gen X homage by a Milli.

Ugh, might do need to pay for basic. Sometimes it does seems I am vague posting even if it is not my intention.

If you get it, you get it. But I also liked the two very transparent Kojima nods in the first parts and how it connects S1 with it. In terms of the Anime style. It feels like an Anime made in the early 2000's paying homage to late 80's and early 90's anime. Fittingly Neo-Retro.

Will be extremely glad if it keeps being made for many more seasons or different anime series. Hope people like it and get it.

Completely ridiculous to blame EA for the closure given not only Bioware had not made any money in a decade, but it had lost hundreds of millions of dollars in that time at the same time as delivering 3 horrible games. I argue the opposite, Bioware should have died after Anthem.
Warren Spector is absolutely ripping into EA over BioWare’s closure. The Deus Ex and System Shock creator called the shutdown “utter bullshit” and said the “folks in suits” behind it “should lose their damn jobs.” Other RPG creators and former BioWare developers have also been mourning the studio and reacting to its closure. BioWare is gone after more than 30 years

Good. Bioware had 3 strikes already. Anthem, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Not only 3 horrible games in a row. But Andromeda was one of the games that started the uglification of female character models and had garbage dialogue & character animation too.
EA is shutting down BioWare. After more than 30 years, the studio behind Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, Mass Effect and Anthem is closing its doors. The next Mass Effect was also in early development, but EA has now cancelled the project. Around 400 EA employees are being laid off, including roughly 50 at BioWare.

Being extremely charitable. I think the shortest time for the Europe Space Agency (ESA) being able to pull what Starlink is doing in 2026 would be 2031 and it would cost 30 billion euros. Current proyections are 2029 to start & €15B. finance.yahoo.com/economy/po…

I mean, Amazon Leo has already done the level of plan ESA new venture is supposed to start doing in 2029 and it is not going to match 2025 Starlink until 2029 at the earliest.

Jet Set Radio Future Unleashed 0.4.7 ( JSRF Unleashed ) is an Original Xbox Recomp available for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. Not fully featured or polished yet but in runs great on Windows and Android already. I tried it at Widescreen 1440p on Android and it ran well.
