Apparently, India missed the AI revolution. Someone forgot to tell Indian companies.
I recently had the opportunity to meet and interact with nearly 300 product- and service-based companies building AI solutions.
And I'm still trying to process what I witnessed.
🤖 Made with AI
But if you think that's the entire AI revolution, you're missing an enormous part of the picture.
What I witnessed convinced me of one thing:
India has an AI ecosystem that deserves far more attention than it's getting.
Being in the talent acquisition and team procurement space, there is a strange advantage in knowing exactly who to call when something ambitious needs to be built.
Getting access to people doing exceptional work across industries, technologies and markets around the world is a fantastic feeling.
Over the last few months, that access has quietly become much deeper.
Some opportunities don’t need another vendor.
Name 2 things that will make you scale today.
Not 10.
Not 7.
Just 2.
After years of consistently trying to build different models, I’ve realised most businesses don’t fail because they lack ideas.
They fail because they lack:
1. Distribution Can you repeatedly get what you’ve built in front of the right people?
2. Execution rhythm Can you keep doing the important things long enough for momentum to compound?
Product matters. Talent matters. Capital matters.
But without distribution, nobody notices.
The most valuable thing to build today is not just a product, platform, or network. It is a trust layer.
AI is making creation cheaper. Distribution is becoming easier. Information is abundant.
The businesses that solve this won’t necessarily own every transaction. They may simply become the layer through which people decide whom and what to trust.
