I glanced at this post and misread it as “bringing big chungus.”
…And knowing how Crossworlds is; I seriously wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled something off like that.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will receive a “huge update” bringing big changes mynintendonews.com/2026/10/0…
I remember when I was a kid, I’d pull off the same crap as the beginning of the video here, simply because I thought it was funny.
This particular interaction I didn’t know about; but I used to do the whole Spiny thing on the narrow bridges on Yoshi Valley and DK Jungle Parkway.
Not all of them; but Yoshi going from utilizing dragon abilities, to a stampede was such a downgrade IMO.
The former made me feel like I was playing as “Yoshi: the Character”, and not “Yoshi: the Species.”
They gave him something cool, and then took it away for something goofy.
If 10-year-old me saw this in person; I would have foamed at the mouth.
(I was obsessed with Cars back then.)
If I saw this in person today; I would still foam at the mouth.
(I just think it looks sick.)
