Developers rarely get blocked by the main feature.
More often, it’s the small visual tasks around it that slow things down:
fixing an SVG, adjusting an icon, re-exporting assets, or keeping everything consistent across platforms.
IconVectors 1.50 is designed to help with that.
A simpler way to work on SVG icons, keep assets clean and consistent, and use the same workflow on Windows and macOS.
With full macOS support now included, it’s easier to handle visual polish as part of the normal dev process, not as a separate task.

The right object. An outdated command.
In our IconVectors MCP test, a prepared command replaced a newer color change.
A small experiment with a useful lesson: targeting an object and checking for conflicts are two different things.

42 differing pixels. Then zero.
The icon had moved. Compensating for that shift erased the evidence from the comparison.
Our new article explores why icon placement needs its own check—and what “zero difference” actually tells you.

Before choosing an icon set, put five icons in a real toolbar.
Check them at the size people will actually use: stroke weight, spacing, optical balance, dark mode.
A polished preview is useful. Seeing the icons beside your own labels tells you much more.
An icon moves by 1 pixel. The image comparison reports zero difference, after alignment.
In this controlled example: 42 alpha pixels differ before compensation, 0 after.
If position matters, check the original coordinates too.
Your screen is your palette.
Pick a color from another app and apply it straight to your SVG icon.

An SVG cleanup can leave the shape intact and still break its appearance.
Our new article explores three dependencies worth checking before deleting invisible elements: gradients, reused shapes, and text paths.

Resize the shape. Stretch the gradient.
Why does a circular SVG highlight become an ellipse? The answer often starts with gradientUnits.
Our new illustrated article explains what change, and how to keep the highlight circular.

Fixing an SVG is easy. Fixing the next 39 is where the friction starts.
Open. Edit. Save. Close. Find the next file.
Each icon needs a different fix. The repetitive part is the file handling.
Auto-save on opening the next icon keeps the review moving.
Your SVG looks right in the editor. What about after saving, reopening and exporting to PNG?
