After 3 years, the studio I founded @notostudios is shipping its first game tomorrow -- Legacy: Steel & Sorcery. It features an innovative 3rd person Action-based combat that blends Soulslike combat with MMORPG-style spells & abilities, rich progression systems, and a "World PvP" core experience (extraction rpg). World PvP has always been a part of MMORPGs (one of my favorite parts), but has never had its own game -- until now. Incredibly proud of my team who made this game possible, my investors, our Legacy player community, my friends, family and colleagues for your support 💗

Most of the things posted today are things you've already seen in some form or another. We did obfuscate a lot, but what's out there now isn't really all that new. There's a few tidbits but with the sheer scope of the new stuff, that was bound to happen. It's not a big deal.

Bonus round: A lot of the spells datamined may or may not be in the actual release (*cough* cheat death). We did a lot of early experimentation and there's artifacts of that left over. Don't assume that just because you see something datamined, that means it will be obtainable.

Lots of chatter about horde not getting equal treatment in SoD. It was never true (again, youve only seen low level stuff) but we’ve already prepped changes since blizzcon to allow horde to get kings by level 25. Horde is gonna be great. We are listening. More info to come!

I wasn't intending to make this public, but apparently its in the news already, so I'd at least like to set the record straight. I am no longer an employee of Blizzard Entertainment, though I would return if allowed to, so that I could fight the stack-ranking policy from inside.

Overall I think TBC has been a good experience and the most recent phase I think it has been in a very good place generally. I love the decisions to try to make PvP more inticing and accessible. Just had to get this off my chest. Good luck in Sunwell friends!

In light of Detroit playing Colorado today: one of my favorite (lesser-known) videos that shows just how petty & pure the hatred was between the Avalanche and the Red Wings. #LGRW
