Your dressing is off and you should do better. There are rules guiding corporate outfits for the male gender.
Rule 1. Shoe and belt color rules
- Next time, when you wear a brown shoe, make sure the color of your shoe matches with the color of your belt.
- If your shoe is shiny, the belt should be too. If you are wearing a suede shoe, the belt should be a suede belt too.
Rule 2: Shirts and pants combination rules
- You should note that a contrast between your shirt and pants is needed. A light shirt with dark trousers is preferable.
- Again, if you are wearing a patterned shirt, pair it with solid pants (non-patterned) and vice versa.
- Your trouser is too long, it is meant to sit at the right point on the waist, with a slight "break" (where the pant meets the shoe) and no excessive length.
Rule 3: Tie Rule.
- The tip of your tie should reach the top of your belt buckle. No longer, not lower. You look like a primary school kid with that.
- If you are wearing a solid tie, you should pair it with a patterned shirt and vice versa
- Your tie should always be a darker shade of your shirt so that it stands out.

An employee can resign after collecting the present month salary. This is on the condition that the staff will serve their notice period.
If my payday is 23rd of every month, I can resign on the 24th after receiving my pay. However, I must serve the 1month notice period as contained in my offer letter or make payment in lieu of the notice period.
It is also worthy of note that, as a staff I am entitled to be paid for the notice period after I must have returned all company asset and handover correctly.
There’s absolutely no wrong in resigning after the salary is paid, just ensure you serve your notice period.

Na why HR people dey always vex, you resigned immediately you collected your salary, everything will fall back in HR because they have to find your replacement immediately
I can even speak on this because I have experience and two case scenario
First company: I resigned after collecting my salary (I wasn’t even aware I have been paid because first bank doesn’t notify me), I was told to return the salary and I did asap
Second company: 1 month notice period and I got paid, during that period the HR had enough time to find my replacement and I got paid for that month
You people that are saying “I won’t return shiit” I pity you gan. If they company have your time they will blacklist you, you see Nigeria HRs? Most of them know eachother/themselves? Or what if the case when you get a new job and you’re told to fill a reference form and sign it (a must btw) which means you’ve given them consent to contact your former employer
For the love of God, just do things the right way, stubborn head won’t take you anywhere in corporate world

Even people who lost their parents and buried them in their family homes have had to leave those houses because they couldn’t bear the memories. Some people who buried their parents in cemeteries still cry their eyes out whenever they visit their graves. Yet, you people on Twitter want a young widow to bury her late husband inside their house
This is not even about “his own house”The dead have no business with the living anymore, if we’re being honest. What happens if the woman also contributed financially to building that house? She’s not even a stay at home wife, she works too, so it’s possible but that’s a conversation for another day
Mind you, the same family member insisting that Toluwanisings be buried in his house wasn’t even in contact with him before he died
You see, the thing about grief is that nobody can teach you how to grieve. You have to experience it to understand it. People process loss differently and you cannot dictate how someone should mourn or what they should be comfortable with after losing a loved one
I’ve seen different takes on this issue and everyone is entitled to their opinions tho but the opinions are scary and you people are making marriage look scary too

People who still question the 180M naira donated to VDM’s NGO are very foolish! In the last 3 years, VDM has earned an estimated $4-7 million on Facebook alone, or even more. many of you still dey look that guy as that poor guy you use to know in 2023 probably because he doesn't show off enough or you don't know the real scale of his views and engagements on social media. That guy is on serious money. Emphasis on “serious”.
No content creator in Nigeria in the last 3 years has earned more than VDM online. That's why he can confidently say he has never touched the money donated to his NGO.

No one hates mummy zee because she was once favored on this app. I personally unfollowed and blocked her the day she said “pregnancy is not a death sentence”
That statement is her being dismissive of the crazy things that women go through in pregnancy.
Some women have lost their limbs because they brought a life into this world. Some went blind.
Some did C section and never got to see their baby. I had seizures that made me unconscious and lost my ability to speak for almost 2 days.
Mummy zee constantly talks down on women as if it’s not the same genital parts she has with us. You don’t have to be a “girls girls” but talk like someone that has sense when it comes to matters that involve women.
