It is not until you have children that you realize the purpose of your life changes. Your children will invariably walk one day without you forever and you’ll teach them how to do it. That’s the long goodbye.
Some walk with you for a while… Others stay in your sky forever…

"The only thing an old man can tell a young man is that it goes fast, real fast, and if you’re not careful it’s too late. Of course, the young man will never understand this truth" -- Norm Macdonald

Mark Cuban shares his advice for people stuck working a 9 to 5 job and living paycheck to paycheck “Don't go get the best job because that's the hardest to find. Don't get the perfect job because those are hard to find. Just get a job” “When you have a job, just work to be really good at it” “You have to be brutally honest with yourself because nobody looks at the job they're doing and says, ‘I suck.’ They're like, ‘Oh, I'm great at this’” “When you're really good at something, that's when doors do open up” “Even in the worst possible job, you could be working at a McDonald's, at a Dairy Queen but there's a path” “The fact that you can show a future employer that you moved up the line and then when they asked for a reference, they said, ‘Steven was incredibly valuable. We're really sorry that he's leaving. We tried to keep him.’ That's what you need” “That can happen in 2-3 years. It's just most people don't want to think like that”

He won, his tactics worked… I must admit that I didn’t see that coming.
Jose Mourinho Tactics never won Madrid the match yesterday against Barcelona, individual brilliance did, not going to take away anything from Mourinho set up, but individual brilliance gave them the 3 points against Barcelona, Cucurella pocketing Lamine yamal was never tactics but individual brilliance, it was never tactics that made Jude Bellingham orchestrate that magic movement against 3 Barcelona players that created space for the third Goal, Madrid is a team full of individual brilliance, when they're at their best and shape, they will win you every single thing with individual brilliance.

We all forget he is still a teenager …. Our expectations of him are so unreal, he is just 19yrs. I also was frustrated with some of his decision making, but then, it’s okay… He’s still learning.

An interesting way to look at it.

First time attempt was to clear the ball out, no? Nothing pissed me more than this goal particular goal conceded. lol
Look at how the donkey carelessly gave the ball away Look at the defending

It’s as though Flick plays the same way every game 😄😭
🚨 José Mourinho: "I told Camavinga that Tchouaméni will stay low and protect the defense, and you will attack SPACE. It's difficult for any attackers to attack space against Barcelona, the only solution is to do it with your MIDFIELDERS. When your attackers do it, Barca's defense is prepared and coached for that, and your attackers end up being offside, or the pass ends up being cut by Joan Garcia. The solution is to use midfielders like Camavinga and Bellingham to break that line, and it worked."

People who genuinely want the best for you are extremely rare, and they will not want you to work for them, or do anything for them at all; they will want you to pursue your own best self, do your own original thing, and thrive in your own unique way.

Extreme outliers who are naturally detached must kill the urge to seek people who they want to relate to. There is nobody to find. You are a loner, either you accept this basic fact and cherish solitude or you will subtly make everything hard for you by rejecting genuine people from your life just because they are different from you.

Hold your head up. Some people couldn’t walk a mile in your shoes, even if they tried. Be proud of yourself for making it this far. You’ve overcome more than most people will ever know.
