ARC Raiders update 2.4.0 is out The bug where the Raider Tool appeared as default even with different skins equipped has been fixed

ARC RAIDERS COULD GET A PERMANENT PvE MODE! After more than 30 million PvE rounds during the limited-time test, Embark Studios is now evaluating whether to bring the mode back permanently. Executive producer Aleksander Grøndal says the team is considering three possibilities: • A relaxed PvE mode between regular raids • A challenging mode focused on fighting ARC enemies • A full PvE-only experience Embark believes the game could appeal to more types of players but wants to avoid undermining its core PvPvE experience.

Today we have begun the process of controlling regions. 📢 Over the next few hours we will be reducing the maximum ping on a server to be 175 after we have decided that protecting the largest amount of players from an influx of regions that are more prone to cheating. It’s disappointing for us to have to put these divisions in place with social experience being such a core focus of WARDOGS, but we must prioritise the largest group of players over the minority. Region locking is in progress on the backend, but is more than a switch to make a meaningful impact to the desired effect. We’re sorry we let it get to this point that we are forced to make this decision, but we felt that giving certain regions the opportunity to prevail was the right move. Unfortunately, it has not panned out as we’d hoped and we’ll be getting stricter on cross pollination of regions. @BULKHEAD

ANNOUNCEMENT 📢 Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn't felt like one. We sped up progression on deliberately and tried to balance the game better, as set out in the patch notes, but it was the wrong call. Some players are reaching end game gear like Tier 4 armour and MBTs within days, so the wipe never really landed. Some things are clearly out of balance and we'll fix them. Others have the community split, so we want to see how those play out first. We won't be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend, as that would be unfair on everyone already enjoying the climb. Instead, we're looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, so you get a proper fresh start. More details in our dev vlog next week. This is what Early Access is for. 📢 PSA: We have made 2 key balance changes. Within the next 12 hours, the IR Rangefinders will be disabled in the vendor until Season 02, where they will require batteries to use. In this instance, we agree with player sentiment and they cross the line into being too overpowered. The CWIS also now destroys the havoc in around 6 seconds as opposed to 12. We acknowledge we overcorrected this in the previous patch and have hotfixed the issue this morning. No new client download required.
