when I was new to COD I watched YT gameplays from people like xJawz, FearCrads and TheMarkOfJ - all of which had at least a 5kd - and even though I was a shitter at the time, seeing these people shred lobbies and knowing it was possible made me want to get better at the game and I sank in an insane amount of hours to do so.
what does an account that is played on by some of the best players in the world collectively averaging a 1.27kd tell people? That there is no point improving at the game.
Call of Duty with its current SBMM implementation in casual playlists has to be one of the only games out there where getting better at the game makes your experience worse.

Some of the best COD players on the planet dropped a combined 1.27KD. Thank you Call of Duty for making sure everyone has the same experience regardless of how many years or hours of playtime they have over the years of trying to get better!

Infinity Ward rug pulled you. They marketed before the beta that they would be transparent about everything, INCLUDING matchmaking.
Matchmaking changes got pushed onto BO7 first and people's feedback was mostly negative - they did not respond.
The beta comes around and they listen to every bit of feedback (even ttk feedback!) But they don't mention matchmaking ONCE.
We are now a week into the launch of the game and this is the strictest feeling SBMM of all time, with a plethora of complaints from the community about it. And they have been silent.
Making a tweet saying you're listening to feedback but not actually addressing ALL the feedback (And this doesn't include just SBMM, there is a huge net code problem they are ignoring as well) is not actually listening to feedback. They are nit picking whats easy for them to respond to.
Infinity Ward needs to make changes on how they respond to community feedback because it is not looking good for them, especially with GTA 6 right around the corner.

Seeing OpTic get a combined K/D Ratio of 1.27 is insane…
It made me check my stats between BO7 (mostly played before S05) and MW4 thus far.
And well, it’s pretty bad too. My K/D was cut in literal half. Thanks SBMM😭

A way above average playergroup landing at 1.27 k/d after countless hours of repetitive try hard public lobbies. Sad part is some devs will be celebrating this as an achievement. Huge reason why multiplayer is dying.

Not surprised, when I told Katie 3 years ago in Foxhole that showing your side weak armor in a tank is a bad idea she told me to touch grass and abused Reddit’s suicide-report system to send me a suicide prevention message.
Using a system meant to help people in crisis to falsely imply I am suicidal is harassment. She basically told me to kill myself over nothing.

I've known katie a long time. She exploited in @WARDOGS. I told her as much. When I did, she called me someone that "sided with bigots" because I said the 7 day ban was justified. Shroud said "they knew exactly what they were doing, lets not play stupid here", who is coincidentally also someone Katie says she respects.
In my conversation with her she told me I was no longer her friend among a myriad of personal attacks.
Having attempted to talk to her about it, rather than act in a way that was anything resembling "calm", she blocked me here and everywhere else.
All because I didn't think coordinating 20 people to shell a fob you allowed other people to capture ON PURPOSE so you and your viewers could farm 5 million dollars a game meant a ban was justifiable.
