On August 28, BJP worker from Murshidabad’s Samserganj, Sujit Mondal went missing & after two days, few of his body parts were recovered. CID took over the case & made three arrests including main accused Samayun Sheikh.
Today when CID was conducting crime-scene reconstruction with the accused persons when the main accused Samayun Sheikh snatched the police firearm & tried to flee. He was shot at in police’s retaliatory fire. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.
