My takeaways from #BC32020 1. #breastsurgery & #microsurgery working collaboratively for breast sensation because it’s a team effort 🤝 2. #genetictesting and educating about full spectrum of panels 3. For this #patientadvocate being there was a BIG deal 🙌🏼☺️

So much great information at #BC32020, it’s hard to choose! Would say 1) Get PM&R MDs like @EricWisotzkyMD involved early/often 2) surgical options for lymphedema continue to improve (though prevention is of course best) 3) interest in breast sensation is wonderfully widespread

My takeaways from #BC32020 1. We are missing upto 60% of LVA targets without ultrasound 2. Need to make sensory reinnervation a routine part of #breast reconstruction 3. Patients need “prehab” before surgery
