I'm sure that phone call has been made. The fact that Joey Bosa isn't already on the 49ers with his brother on a team primed for a Super Bowl run tells me he doesn't want to/is unable to play.
@CoachCrocky @BDPeacock just a thought, is it worth a phone call to see what the number would be for Joey Bosa?
Super Bowl bound team adds him for low cost and no draft capital. Interesting
Height (Mack)
@CoachCrocky @BDPeacock @BayAreaWink You have bosa, osa, and defo on 3rd down. Who can fill in the dee ford role and recreate the 2019 pass rush? 👀
Of course, we JUST finished recording a podcast before the DeForest Buckner news broke... (but at least we predicted this is how the 49ers would respond). Thoughts on the Quenton Nelson trade and MORE trade options for the 49ers 👇👇👇

BREAKING: Seattle Seahawks TRADE for Quentin Nelson Signaling Colts FIRE SALE
youtu.be/1VaWKEIqb6M?si=W9lU…
Welp.
Trade! The Colts are sending eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.

Terrible series from the falcons. Two incomplete passes then a shanked punt. The 49ers aren’t in a good place to score quickly, but now have 4 minutes and a shorter field. Can just run regular offense.
With news that NYG are moving Skattebo to a more complimentary RB role… Def saw that coming. Folks were a little too excited by his play style in the draft. Nice player, but a role player in the NFL.

@BDPeacock and @CoachCrocky mentioned Trent Williams going in motion on the pod where I started thinking…. What would you call Trent Williams going into an Orbit Motion?? Gravitational Pull?!! 😆 I just had to..
Keion White's offseason started by getting shot in the foot and he's become invaluable to the 49ers defense this season.
Also... how was a highly drafted, productive, versatile guy on a rookie contract available for a 6th rd pick last season (and SF got a 7th back)??

Commanders shouldn’t be in this game, but here they are, down 6 with 9:00 to play. 49ers should have put them away long ago.
You love to see it. Had David Walker in my final 2025 mock draft to the 49ers in rd 4. Didn't fit as well for Saleh as he would have for Raheem Morris.
The David Walker breakout is no fluke at this point after beating both Steelers tackles for a sack yesterday. He leads the entire NFL in pass-rush win-rate per @PFF (26.3%)

History on the line tonight
Just talked about this on Locked On 49ers last night. First step toward a Colts fire sale was canning the GM.
John Lynch can probably aim as high as they want, as long as the 49ers are willing to pay the price in trade. Buckner? Nelson?
@ZachHicks2, @JakeArthurNFL (sorry if too soon) what kind of draft capital would it take? Do you think Buckner and Nelson (Bynum, Downs, Ward, Latu???) are or will be available before the trade deadline? Asking for thousands of friends.
