Ron Duguay, Phil Esposito, Dave Maloney and Anders Hedberg in the unforgettable 1979 Sasson jeans commercial. A classic Rangers memory that will always make us smile. RIP Ron. Forever a Blueshirt. šā¤ļøšļø

RIP. My first "favorite" hockey player, you'll be missed @RonDuguay10

To be fair he only went to his car to retrieve his hand gun to execute his 23 year old teammate JC Latham in front of the team.
Wow. Much respect to #Titans HC Robert Saleh for explaining the DT Jordan Elliott gun situation.
āMy message to 31 other teams: If you need a hell of a run-stopping D-tackle that can help on a playoff run, give me a call. I'll tell you everything you need to know about him. Heās a good man. Had a terrible lapse in judgment. I recognize it as a call for help. Not a criminal act.ā

Have said it many times in the past and never more obvious than right here. Robert Saleh is too soft. Too nice.
You can't say "He's a hell of a guy and was only going to kill a teammate once, so he deserves a job".
Insanity.

October 2007: Three backbench Members of Congress take the photo, launch the brand, and build momentum.
Two Speakers. One VP Nominee; Chairman of Ways and Means. Two Majority Leaders. Two Whips. Largest landslide election win since 1946.
Not bad for three rank-and-file Members.

I didnāt chime in on this because a) I honestly didnāt care that much and b) there are usually two sides to these things.
But the way this went, as best I can tell, is that Kelly Clarkson walked into this Brooklyn store, voluntarily looking a bit homeless, and inquired about a fake bird. In between helping a ton of other people, they told her the bird was not for sale but here is the artistās info, he sells them for about $15,000. In the meantime, here is a $2,000 bird they DO offer.
Which Clarkson took to mean, āYou canāt afford our bougie bird that costs as much as a baby grand so here, take this pathetic $2,000 knock-off like good little poor.ā (Which is a stupid interpretation all around because who but a rich person has $2k to drop on a fake bird? But okay.)
Anyway, that was not the intended message, but she immediately walked out and put this little business on blast to her millions of followers who instantly swarmed like bees with zero additional information.
I donāt give a crap whether Clarkson ends up with a fake bird or how much it costs. She can have a menagerie of $20,000 parakeets or she can whittle them herself out of sticks from her backyard, I donāt care.
But I do care that so many people can be instantly riled up on social media to attack a potentially innocent person or business simply because their celebrity idol tells them to.
The @kellyclarkson tapes are OUT! And guess what? The footage shows NO evidence of her being disparaged. What it DOES show is her looking at the bird, staff assisting otherS, and Kelly having an outburst as she leaves - and other customers clearly uncomfortable by her conduct.
Does anyone listen to @WFAN660 anymore? The featured clips are just the visual version of dumbed down rage bait, it must be intolerable to actually try to listen for more than 20 seconds. Exhausting.

But he learned the hard way that āgoing viralā doesnāt mean youāre going to win, proving why he probably shouldāve hired a political consultant lol.
Guys, I hate to break it to you, but most political advisors are so bafflingly incompetent, it would make your head spin. All the talented communicators go work in Hollywood or at Saatchi and Saatchi, and these political bros never tap these agencies for help...I've connected several campaigns with literally the best marketing geniuses in the game, got them discounted rates, even...and they just never even bothered calling. It truly feels like a lot of consultants and candidates just want to lose.
You ever wonder how my ads went so massively viral, but there's not been a single candidate who's come close to it? It's their dumbass advisors. I didn't go with any political advisors, and they were SO mad about it. I partnered with a filmmaker and marketing wizard, instead of political grifters. Why? Because I wanted our messaging to be effective. Political ads suck. Nobody watches them. I wanted people to want to watch my ads. The fact that nobody else understands this is...I honestly don't know how to explain it, other than they want to lose.
There are a bunch of candidates who love it when their party loses power. It takes all the heat off them, because then they can't be expected to pass legislation when they're in the minority, plus they can fundraise way better off of the rage when the opposition is running roughshod over the country. Baffling to watch.
"This is why no one is selling..." Um, the buyer in the anecdote had to purchase it from someone... the guy next door sold.
My neighbor bought his house in 2019 for $310,000
His mortgage is $1,450 a month at 2.9%
The identical house next door just sold for $495,000
The buyer's payment is $3,800 a month at 6.8%
Same street. Same square footage. Same schools.
One family is building wealth. The other is just trying to survive.
This is why nobody is selling.
Putting aside his recent fav/unfavs, show me his path.... can't just wish away the primary calendar. Ask President Giuliani.
I mean the story is not that he said it, it's that IT OCCURRED.
