A: CAD/Comptroller disputes.
Here's an illustrated guide that shows what that means.

Growth isn't always linear, but it's always going on.

ALT Poster titled "How did you grow as a mathematician today?" Below, there are five ways to describe growth: "1. Describe a new strategy you learned. 2. Tell a math word you learned and what it means. 3. Describe a mistake you made and what you learned from it. 4. Explain how you challenged yourself today. 5. Tell about something you noticed today and how it helped you solve a math problem."

When students start the year below grade level, they must improve multiple-years in one school year to catch up. Have your kids needing Tier 3 support improved at least one year so far this year? If not, what do you plan to do different? More of the same is rarely the answer.

This week's #PISDCurriculum conversations included ways in which to scaffold sentence frames/stems according to language function (categorize, draw conclusions, make inferences) in order to promote students' oral language development! What great tools for our #PISDMTSS efforts!

Schools, If you aren't sure whether or not you should give assignments, quizzes or tests. Ask yourselves, does every child have equal access, opportunity, and support to do it. If not, then don't do it.

My math teachers have been using @Classkick for students to do practice. It is easy to do and is the best format for students to use a text box or free write because you put one problem on a page. Very very fast to convert PDFd to assignments. #math #noPrintingRequired – at Irving, TX

Please, no teaching to the test because for the first time in decades there is no test. Let’s teach to their strengths and their passions instead so learning is fun and relevant again.

As of this time, we ask all squares to stay inside the square root, as it is safer inside the radical at this time. Some people might think you're making the radical expression not simplified but safety first.

Many educators are feeling stressed right now about trying to succeed with remote learning.
Start where you are.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Keep learning, growing, and changing.
Be generous with yourself. You’re doing great!
