They they will face Salina Central for the 5A crown in Emporia at 2pm on Friday. Rylee Hackmann was in town today to catch up with the team and head coach Rod Stallbaumer. Incredible what they’ve done this season. Our third time here this season. #sportsinkansas

Incredible work by Rod Stallbaumer, one of the most consistent coaches in Kansas. The Bobcats have proved EVERYONE wrong, and so has Salina Central, setting up a huge 5A showdown in Emporia.
For the first time since 2013 (Blue Valley), the 5A East representative won’t be Mill Valley or Aquinas in the title game. 🤯 Absolutely incredible run and its not over. #sportsinkansas
