People could simply praise Antonelli without putting anyone else down, but some people, just like the Italian media, apparently can’t help themselves.
They conveniently ignore the four zero-point finishes his teammate suffered because of car failures, the persistent straight-line speed issues (losing speed on the straights has absolutely nothing to do with his cornering technique), and the countless other mechanical and technical problems he’s had all season.
Instead, they insist on portraying this former teenager as a genius for beating his teammate, who they act like is almost 60 years old.
If George is really that bad, why are you so desperate to prove Antonelli’s genius by constantly emphasizing that he beat him?
Stop pretending to be blind to the differences between their two cars.
