While it may not have ended today the way we had hoped…this group has NOTHING to hang its head for. An 8-2 week & Top 3 finish @PGFnetwork National Championships is something no one can ever take away from them. We may not have always been the most talented team on the field…but no one could argue that someone had more heart, grit, & toughness than us. This is a special group that had a special summer and each of you should be proud of what you’ve done. No @NebraskaGold 16U team has ever finished better at PGF Nationals & you all once again reminded those outside our great state that Nebraska girls can play this game too. You’ve followed in the steps of some great teams before us and your setting the stage for future teams to come. Thank you for letting me come along for the ride. I 🖤💛 you all like I 🖤💛 my own! Take some time to rest, reset, & re-energize before your HS seasons start…you’ve earned it. HUGE 🙏 to @autumndbryant @ellatinsman09 & @Tana_Antons for joining us on this ride! You guys were awesome & we couldn’t have done what we did without you! For the last time this year… ‘Gold on 1…1 Gold! #GoldDNA #HM3 @LineDsoftball @los_stuff @ExtraInningSB @MidwestPremierS @SoftbalAmerica @d1fastpitch1

A perfect 7-0 record on the field (technically an ‘official’ record of 7-1 😉) leads to a T-3 finish @ERIStourney & A LOT to be proud of. Had to deal with all kinds of adversity this weekend & the girls showed grit, toughness, & determination thru it all. Every girl contributed at some point this weekend & that’s the only reason why we were able to fight thru all obstacles thrown our way. @LainiMichaelis w/5 hits today (including a HUGE 3-run 💣) to lead the way today at the plate. @autumndbryant @BNoerrlinger @Alisha_McMurtry all w/2 hits & @KincaidBrooklyn @BrookeOchsner1 @Kenadie_barton all with a hit. Our pitchers were tough as nails against 2 really good teams & kept us in both games today until the offense could find some rhythm. @Alisha_McMurtry 8IP, 6H, 2ER, 9K’s & a gutty performance from @avanance10 of 6IP, 3H, 1ER, & 3K’s. 👊💪👏👏 Special thanks to @autumndbryant & @JadynPokorny for running with us this weekend. You guys were fantastic & filled your roles perfectly! Home for a few days before heading out for our last ride this season @PGFnetwork Nationals in Huntington Beach on Friday! ☀️🌊⛱️ #GoldDNA #HM3 @NebraskaGold @MidwestPremierS @SoftbalAmerica @LineDsoftball @los_stuff @d1fastpitch1 @ExtraInningSB

Bracket game 3 @COSparkFire was a 5-3 'W' over an extremely talented Impact Gold National Team & sends us to the Championship Bracket on Sunday! The girls displayed some serious grit, toughness, & heart and competed hard until the very last pitch. The game was filled with moments where a girl had a job to do and when it was their time...they delivered. Leadoff 💣 by @LainiMichaelis got us going. Back to back PH singles by @AddieBGallegos & @addie_abboud5 helped erase a 2 run deficit into a 1 run lead. @BNoerrlinger @MaceyJarose @callieschwisow & @EmersonBoyer26 all w/hits to help the offense. HUGE 👏👏👏to @avanance10 for her 2.1 IP in the ⭕️to start the game & keep their talented offense off balance before giving way to @Alisha_McMurtry ...who came in the last 2.2 IP...steadied the ship...& took us over the finish line! Well done you 2!!! 👊💪 Time to get some rest tonight & see if we can make a run in the Championship Bracket tomorrow starting at 800 am! #GoldDNA #HM3 @NebraskaGold

Went 0-2 on Day 2 of @COSparkFire...dropping game 1 3-2 on a walk-off 💣& then game 2 9-1 where we struggled to string hits together when we needed too. @LainiMichaelis 3H, 2 2B @Kenadie_barton 2H @Alisha_McMurtry 2H, 2B @KincaidBrooklyn 2H, RBI @AddieBGallegos 2B @MaceyJarose 2B @BNoerrlinger H Day off today to rest up and get ready to roll for our 1000 am bracket game on Friday at Olympic Park #4! We miss you Hads! 🖤💛 #HM3 #GoldDNA
