Year 6 have been busy investigating all about volcanoes as part of their enquiry. Today’s challenge was to find out why volcanoes erupt and locate where volcanoes are in the world and use atlas and map work skills. A great job explorers!

Year 6 had an amazing day celebrating our Welsh language, culture and heritage during Diwrnod Shwmae, listening to music from Wales and cooking Welsh rarebit.

Year 6 had a lovely Autumn walk to St. Mary’s church to the Harvest service.

Year 6 have been learning about the visual language of colour in Art, focusing on colour theory, using their colour mixing skills to design their own colour wheel and learn colours in Spanish.

Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils who have been voted our new pupil leaders for 26-27. We wish them all the best in their prestigious roles.

Year 6 have really enjoyed developing their gymnastic skills. They have worked collaboratively to construct a sequence of shapes. They are looking forward to building on these skills and developing further creativity.
