A great example of what’s possible for small press publishers in the direct market outside the Diamond system. Summoner Wars #1 from Battle Quest Comics has received orders more than FIVE TIMES higher than our previous best-selling comic through Massive and Universal. (Bleeding Cool News) That kind of support from comic book and game stores is incredibly encouraging—and a reminder that there is a strong market for independent publishers when retailers have access to the right books and distribution channels. Huge thanks to every comic shop and game store that supported Summoner Wars and put their trust in Battle Quest Comics. We couldn’t do this without you! bleedingcool.com/comics/batt…

We met Walter at LA Comic Con in 2018. When we asked him which of his photos we should buy to get signed, he took a moment to think before saying, “I think you should buy all of them!” (If only we’d had the budget to do so!) He was a class act. RIP Walter Koenig! Go boldly! 🖖

Got our first submission for a full AI graphic novel, hard no.
